Catherine was wanting to go ATVing so we took her out in the desert. As long as she drove with me she behaved but when she and her Dad went out on their own...well I'll show you the results later on in the blog!
Catherine figured I had been a bank robber in my past and she was getting ready to mix chemicals in her getup!
We figured she was catching bugs in this picture
This was Catherine taking pictures with her camera as we drove along, we definitely have different skin tones!
I told her to go hug a cactus - she actually picked this cactus for her Aunt T - if she reads this blog she will understand!
That is Doug coming along behind us, it was so dusty out there we had to keep a fair distance apart to not get choked with dust
Doug catching up to us
Doug was off looking for the grinding holes in the rocks left by the American Indians many years ago
He finally found them, they are so cool. You can just visualize the woman grinding their corn and nuts in these holes
Closer view of the holes made in the sandstone from the grinding of corn and nuts
This is how Catherine think she drives!
This is how Doug thinks she drives!
Catherine's ATVing hairdo!
Eagle's nest in a saguaro cactus. You can see the eagle's tail sticking out of the nest
Catherine and I went for a pedicure, again I am sure you can tell which are my feet and which are hers!
Since Catherine was so sick at Christmas and didn't get a chance to have Christmas or Christmas dinner, we celebrated Christmas in March. Our friends Trent and Ann joined us and Trent made her a beautiful belt buckle with a Sonoran Dendrite stone polished and inserted into a belt buckle
A little late for Christmas but a bit early for St. Paddy's day so we gave her a t-shirt
Trent, Ann, Doug, Catherine and Sharon enjoying turkey dinner in March!
We loved to spend the day just relaxing and reading a good book!
